Chevy Silverado Response Unit
My department recently authorized our drone program to use an old animal control Chevy Silverado for a drone response vehicle. The vehile has a topper on the bed so it is somewhat weather resistant.
Wondering if anyone uses a pickup with topper for their response unit and if so would you be able to provide me with some photos of your setup. olsonj@ci.williston.nd.us

I’m starting to hear about agencies rolling into pickup builds. They do present some challenges. No climate control to keep things cool/warm, harder to dry gear out.
Keep in mind that sometimes simpler is better. Look at the two Tahoe builds that were home built plywood constructed. You could do a similar thing in the truck at a really affordable price point.
