Hey James, we recently received a print file for a Goggles 3 mount that we will post in our file share (Documents Page) in the members section of the site. It was provided by Remote Tactical Solutions and created by a Nebraska copper. Once we have it up, we will have a quick form to fill out so we can push out updates to those that are using it if new tech or print files are released. We will let you know once it’s up. Thanks for your patience and asking about this!
Hello dear community,
My SWAT unit is getting some Avata II.
The drones are to be carried by specially trained SWAT operators as reconnaissance tools. We are now looking for a good solution for carrying the drones on our equipment and deploying them as quickly as possible.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a practical storage solution?
Many thanks in advance.
Fabio,
What lighting kit do you have on the Avata 2? That is not one I'm familiar with.
Hello Everyone,
Is anyone using a drop device with their UAS to deliver a distraction device (Flash bangs) for SWAT, in a tactical scenario only? If anyone is, I’m interested in reviewing your agency policy and deployment strategy. Additionally, have you run across any regulations for doing so? I’ve been checking with other agencies near me, and so far none have used their UAS to deploy a distraction device.
for anyone else who peeks this thread, Frank and I connected offline and found some information that others may be interested in. Here is the link to the article.

NIST Proctor
Hey Jim, So I typed a long response and it didn't post. So short story, There are agency out there doing NIST certifications by testing profeciency. I took a train the trainer class at Influential Drones. I now certify the pilots on my team in NIST levels 1-3. I also teach a NFPA 2400 Pilot class for The Delaware State Fire School. This is a one day 8 hour course with a National Pro-Board certification Test. They travel to teach the class and its fairly inexpensive. I don't know of any other agency doing this certification testing in the Country.
