PROPELLING PUBLIC SAFETY
The Law Enforcement Drone Association (LEDA) is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization which conducts training with both established law enforcement UAS teams, as well as agencies with a desire to start public safety UAS programs. These training events are split between four-day training conferences and smaller regional events throughout the country. Each LEDA event covers topics such as UAS program breakdowns, tactical/indoor flight theory, legal updates, airborne searching, crash/crime scene reconstruction, and incident debriefs. In addition to the classroom portion, we include practical scenario-based applications where pilots can apply what they've learned to real-world situations. LEDA also partners with drone manufacturers, software companies, and other vendors to bring product demos to our events when possible, so members can get hands-on experience with technology that will push their programs forward.
