UAS Program Assignment
Currently, our drone program is under our Critical Incident Response Team, which serves as a high-profile investigation unit (officer-involved, collision reconstruction, special crime scene investigations, etc.).
Does anyone have experience on having the UAS Program assigned under your Aircraft section (manned aircraft)? I'm aware some state agencies have this in policy already, such as Michigan State Police. I'm looking for others and would like to see if I could get a copy of UAS policies.

The Sacramento police department puts UAS and crewed aviation under the same supervisor but have 2 separate general orders/operations policy’s. Would be glad to talk with you about it more. My email is nfox@sacpd.org
