We are looking into a DFR program, and I'm trying to create a DFR policy. I'm hoping that some, or a few of you, have a DFR policy you're willing to share to help get me started.

Recently I saw Oak Island hosting a 16 hour pilot training course that said LEDA approved. We currently teach the LEDA curriculum over the course of 3 days. How can my agency go about having the course LEDA approved? Is it possible for the participants to get a cert through LEDA and our agency?

They do a NIST test currently on the final day for a LEDA Level 1 cert.

Our unit has been moving forward with new policy and monthly trainings, mainly because of the help that the members and board of LEDA have given me. The majority of the unit is now at a level 1 NIST Cert through LEDA with level 2 around the corner. Happy to say that when the NTOA standards came out, we were already conforming to them. We now run an internal initial pilot training program based off of the LEDA standards.

Has LEDA explored any sort of accreditation of public safety drone units?

We recently purchased a few Dock 2, and I'm looking if anyone has document they are using to track their successes. I'm hoping to utilize this data to highlight how much value our docks are going to bring to patrol, and have a few ideas on how we could get this data put in after flights from my pilots. I'd rather not reinvent the wheel if someone already has something built though. Thank you!
