LEDA Accreditation
Our unit has been moving forward with new policy and monthly trainings, mainly because of the help that the members and board of LEDA have given me. The majority of the unit is now at a level 1 NIST Cert through LEDA with level 2 around the corner. Happy to say that when the NTOA standards came out, we were already conforming to them. We now run an internal initial pilot training program based off of the LEDA standards.
Has LEDA explored any sort of accreditation of public safety drone units?

So glad to hear things are going well! Happy we’ve been able to help! We have definitely talked about an accreditation pathway, it’s hard from a staffing perspective since we all have other jobs.
Hopefully we’ll be able to dig into that more at some point!
