In need of M2EA camera

Good afternoon! I am an Investigator and UAS operator at the (redacted). I am trying to think outside the box on ways to get our M2EA camera replaced, the drone itself works fine, but the thermal capabilities are pretty much shot. DJI wants appx. $1900 to replace it.. As with most agencies our size, our budget isn’t that big and the county commissioners probably wouldn’t approve the cost. Would there be any chance of putting out some feelers in the LE Drone community to see if anyone has an unserviceable M2EA with a good thermal camera still operable we can salvage off it for a fair price? Any assistance with this would be greatly
appreciated!

Well I was almost your guy, but the thermal camera was about the only not broken in our crash, and we’re having the drone repaired.
