Deployment Statistics
My department size is apx 389 sworn with a population of 319k and a newish drone program. We currently operate 8 drones on patrol with another 4 on special teams. We will likely receive shipment of another 5 shortly.
I am attempting to convince command for the need to have a fulltime lead pilot. We currently do not have anyone dedicated fulltime to the program, to include supervision. What I am hoping is for a response to this post with the agency, sworn numbers, population size, average monthly deployments, and how many sworn personnel are used to staff your program.
Any other advice is welcome.

I run the County PD program in St. Charles County, MO. We are about 600sq miles, about 200 sworn. I am employed by the PD (part time) as the UAS commander, we have 18 pilots, 25+ aircraft and run about 300 calls for service per year. Happy to chat if you need more stats.
