Starting up a drone unit
Can anyone help me out with directing me in the right direction on how and what I need to start a drone unit for my department. Starting this from the ground up. Thanks in advance.

LEDA has excellent resources for those just getting started in the drone world. Aside from attending an upcoming conference, a good place to start is our Document Center. Specifically, the LEDA UAS Operation Standard For Law Enforcement, a 31-page document that covers best practices related to policy, initial training, operations, etc. If you are also new to the drone world and don't feel comfortable providing that initial training, LEDA's Trusted Training Partners can come to your agency and provide training on various UAS topics.
